Project Nehemiah Construction & Concrete was built from faith, family, and a God-given vision to restore and rebuild. After years of experience in concrete and construction, Ballard felt called to bring his own vision to life — one rooted in integrity, hard work, leadership, and service to others. Together, as husband and wife, we took a leap of faith and built a company that reflects not only our skills, but our values and purpose.
We have been married for nearly five years and are blessed with five children between us. Service and sacrifice have always been part of our family story. Amanda was raised in a military family with both her mother and father serving in the United States Air Force, while Ballard grew up inspired by his grandfather’s service in the Navy and developed a deep respect for the military — especially the Marines — from a young age. That background shaped the discipline, resilience, and commitment that now define our business.
The heart behind Project Nehemiah comes directly from the biblical story found in Nehemiah 2:18. In the Bible, Nehemiah was burdened by the destruction of Jerusalem’s walls and felt called by God to rebuild what had been broken. Despite opposition and challenges, he led people together with faith, courage, and determination, declaring: “Let us rise up and build.” That message became the foundation of our company.
To us, construction is more than concrete and structures — it is about restoration. It is about protecting families, strengthening homes, serving communities, and building something that lasts. Project Nehemiah is not just our business name; it is the mission and heart behind everything we do.
